After 4 happy years in the convenient-but-hectic heart of Sydney, the team decided that we needed a fresh change and a swanky new space.
We scoured the cityscape, looking for a suitable area to replace the hustle and bustle with a more composed and free-flowing feel and quickly fell in love with the up-and coming creative precinct of our fair city, Chippendale. The location was perfect – only 5 minutes walk from Central Station. This tiny suburb is quickly becoming a creative cornerstone in Sydney’s already diverse layout.
Only a few weeks in, and we’re already feeling at home amongst a hip range of galleries, agencies, cafes and pubs – Café Giulia is quickly becoming a team favourite. Street art blends with the leafy avenues to create a unique feel. Like us, other innovative minds are beginning to find themselves drawn to this developing pocket in the city’s inner-west.
“We loved the edgy vibe and hole-in-the-wall cafes. A space for open collaboration, relaxation and room to play were also up there on the ‘must have’ list”, says Sabir Samtani (Co-Founder, Director).
An open plan space was located on Meagher Street and instantly, the team knew it had found its new home. Once used as a warehouse, the new office has been decked out in an open style, fostering a social and communicative culture. It allows us to bounce ideas off one another and collaborate on thoughts and projects.
Creative people need creative places and overall, the new space and location allows us to progress better than ever before. It marks the start of an exciting new era in the life of REBORN – we can’t wait to see what new heights the team will reach!
