I absolutely love agency life and working with genuinely creative thinkers

Noel Magnus, former CEO of JWT returns to Adland with a bang!  And this time he takes the reigns as our new MD.

Well known Ad industry figure Noel Magnus has returned to the communications world, joining independent communications agency, REBORN. as Managing Director.

Magnus, the former CEO of JWT, Australasia (2007 – 2010) has been in general business consultancy and the legal world for the past three years.

Says Magnus: “While I learned a hell of a lot during my time out of the industry, I sure as hell missed it too.  I absolutely love agency life and working with genuinely creative thinkers.  Needless to say, I didn’t find too many of them in the law.”

Magnus was largely credited with the strong turnaround of JWT.  Under his leadership the agency picked up many new clients, launched a number of new divisions and won a swag of international awards.

Magnus said he had been looking for an agency that was relatively new, highly relevant, independent, progressive and genuinely ambitious and that he’d found that in REBORN.  Says Magnus: “I have loads of respect for what Sabir, David and the team have achieved so far – it’s a great story.  But it’s only the beginning, we have ambitious plans – so watch this space.”

David Easton and Sabir Samtani, co-founders, REBORN: “Noel brings genuine seniority to REBORN.  He is an established communications industry executive with many years of national and international experience.  He is passionate, driven and proven. We are very excited to have him on board to help steer REBORN. along with several other brands we will be introducing to the market in the next few months.”

REBORN’s clients include Nestle, Dyson, GUESS, Lion Drinks & Dairy, Domain, Colgate, Tourism Queensland, Suntory, Peroni and McPhersons amongst others.
