We needed to take the issue of sustainable energy consumption and get people to interact with it - so we created Infinity. Infinity is a swing able to harness people’s motion in order to create its own clean energy.

REBORN &amp; Peroni, the exclusive beer of Sydney Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival, launch &apos;Passaggio&apos; - a unique installation which captures the true style of the Peroni brand. 

The innovative experience took the consumers at MBFFS on a journey, transporting them to Italy so they could experience the essence of Italian style. The objective of the installation was to visually surprise and delight the viewer by getting them to interact with the Peroni brand in an effortlessly styled environment. 

Richard Oppy, General Mananger, Peroni said &quot;We wanted to treat our audience to a surprising Italian experience. When REBORN presented the Passaggio concept, we knew immediately knew we were onto something.&quot;

‘Passaggio’ took consumers on a journey through a selection of iconic Italian locations, coupled with talent that was shot in Italy to create the perfect Italian style experience.

Enrico Penzo, REBORN&apos;s Creative Technologist said &quot;we loved seeing an idea come to life, especially when it involved an interesting remix of existing technologies. This particular execution required several iterations and tweaks to create an immersive experience where technology played an important role without being overpowering. Seeing the reactions of the audience and their transparent feeling of being transported elsewhere was the best reward for everyone involved in the project&quot;.

This is the second commercial project from the Thinkerers, REBORN&apos;s innovation and invention collective with more projects in the pipeline. 

Peroni is proud to announce ‘Passaggio’ will tour the country with subsequent experiences to be held at future fashion events and the launch of Lavazza Italian Film Festival in Melbourne.

THE CHALLENGE

Hachette is one of the world’s largest publishers. They produce high quality fiction and non-fiction for both adults and kids, covering genres such as self-help, memoirs, travel, history, pop culture, Australiana, lifestyle and sport.

We were asked to come on board to create a brand video to showcase the Hachette brand – a piece that would show both Hachette&apos;s prowess in the publishing industry, and the passion they feel for the books themselves. The finished product would premiere at Hachette&apos;s annual sales conference, but it would need to live beyond that as a general promotional piece too.

THE INSIGHT

Books are emotional. They make us laugh and cry, they surprise us, and they leave us hungry for more. We wanted to make a video that tapped into these feelings; something that showed the power books have to affect us.

THE IDEA

Our video placed a selection of Hachette books together in a domino formation. Then, in one powerful manoeuvre, the domino effect was triggered – and the camera chased the books as each one cascaded into the next.

The books were arranged in a specific sequence, along with real objects that related to each title or genre, and a rich, layered soundtrack designed to match. This meant the viewers were swept up and taken on a carefully planned, immersive journey of Hachette’s world, from the nail biting suspense of thrillers to colour and fun of kids’ classics.

The line that summed it all up? &apos;Stories that move you&apos;.

THE RESULTS

The video was launched to a round of applause at Hachette&apos;s conference... and stay tuned, it will be up online soon.

THE CHALLENGE

A lot goes into every cup of coffee... especially when it&apos;s been made on a Breville BES900. This state-of-the-art espresso machine strikes a delicate balance between temperature and pressure, to create barista-quality coffee in a domestic setting. Sadly, this intricate process is invisible to most consumers.

Breville wanted to put the technical brilliance of the BES900 into the spotlight, to showcase its precision and consistency – and to create $50,000 worth of new sales leads along the way. No small feat, but thankfully we like a challenge.

THE INSIGHT

Espresso isn&apos;t just a drink, it’s a state of mind. People take their coffee very seriously, and can be more than a little snobby about what they drink. While Breville products are known for being high quality and reliable, the brand doesn&apos;t have a reputation in the high-end espresso niche. It was up to us to prove that they deserved one – and that a coffee made by Breville was truly a mixture of science and art.

THE IDEA

Our response to Breville&apos;s brief was a live installation – a demonstration of the BES900 that consumers could see, interact with and most importantly taste.

&apos;The Naked Espresso&apos; laid bare the inner workings of the BES900, showing consumers what really goes into their caffeine fix. By re-engineering the BES900 and hacking the interface with Arduino, the installation took data from the coffee making process (factors like flow rate, steam and pressure) and translated this into a dynamic visual display. Every time a coffee was made, a unique digital artwork was automatically generated, in real time, before consumers&apos; eyes. At the end of the process, consumers could take away a perfect espresso, plus the matching one-off artwork printed onto their cup.

The Naked Espresso made its debut at Sydney&apos;s Aroma Festival, where over 100,000 espresso-lovers had the chance to see and taste the BES900 in action. We filmed consumer reactions while the installation was running, then</video:description>
