We helped Knorr introduce their Chicken Powder to Asian Australians, celebrating the authentic taste of home-cooked meals and driving engagement through a nostalgic and heartwarming influencer campaign

Background

Knorr, a well-known brand in the culinary world, aimed to introduce its Chicken Powder to the Asian Australian community. Understanding the deep connection between food and cultural heritage, the influencer campaign sought to evoke the authentic feelings experienced at family gatherings over a soulful meal. REBORN’s task was to creatively convey how Knorr Chicken Powder made the flavours of their parents and grandparents cooking easy and accessible across all generations of  Asian Australians.

Objective

The primary objective of the campaign was to encourage Asian Australians to rediscover the authentic taste of home through the trusted Knorr brand. We aimed to create a strong emotional connection with the audience with our Asian Australian influencers, leveraging nostalgia and the comfort of traditional home cooked  family meals to drive brand engagement and product usage.

Our Approach

Our idea centred around highlighting the emotional and cultural significance of Knorr Chicken Powder, with flavour so authentic that it created the feeling of being home away from home.  To achieve this, REBORN focused on influencer strategy, leveraging Asian Australian influencers’ ability to connect with audiences on an intimate and relatable level.

We collaborated with influencers to develop a series of Instagram and TikTok video ads and static posts designed to capture the younger audience. Influencers showcased authentic Chinese recipes using Knorr Chicken Powder, featuring family members to comment on the taste, and reinforcing the message that Knorr Chicken Powder brings the taste of home to every meal. This blend of past and present, accompanied by authentic visuals and music, connected new age parents with their culinary heritage.
