Vanuatu has remained the great unknown from all the pacific islands. A semi isolated island, full of culture and lively people that has preserved the unique simplicity of life in the midst of nature and rough landscapes. Following on from the ‘Wake up in Vanuatu’ campaign, Tourism Vanuatu wanted to create conversation and engagement around the destination.
Objectives
Drive conversation and engagement for Vanuatu as a premier island destination, leveraging the ‘Wake up in Vanuatu’ campaign to tap into the universal desire for a transformative island holiday experience, and position Vanuatu as the ideal escape from the monotony of daily life.
Insight
While we’re happy with the busy lives we lead, we long for the complete change in the form of an island holiday.
The idea
Every morning we wake up and realise we have another day, another week, another month ahead of us. We gather ourselves together, pull ourselves out of bed, and start our daily routine before heading out to conquer another day. If only we could wake up one day and already be on island!
